Join Us for a Special Screening: Western Monarch Butterflies-Protecting our Pollinators by Ian Nelson
You're invited to a captivating documentary screening that follows the awe-inspiring migration of the iconic Western monarch butterflies. This beautiful film takes viewers through the key sites these delicate creatures visit each year and highlights the critical habitats that monarchs and other native pollinators depend on to survive.
But this story is more than just a natural spectacle—it’s a powerful symbol of resilience. The monarch’s transformation from caterpillar to butterfly mirrors our own journeys of growth and change. Despite facing extreme weather, long migrations, and shrinking habitats, these fragile creatures endure, reminding us that beauty often emerges through adversity. The film also offers hope and a call to action. Everyone can play a part in helping monarchs and other pollinators thrive by planting native milkweed and nectar-rich flowers in gardens, schoolyards, and community spaces.
Spanish subtitles will be available to ensure the film is accessible to all.
Come be inspired by the incredible journey of the monarchs—and learn how you can help protect their future.
