The West Side Swap Meet is back on Saturday, January 31 from 11am-3pm at the North Charleston Community Center (2009 7th Avenue, Charleston, WV).Neighbors and friends of the West Side can gather to buy and/or sell items they no longer want or need.

$5 to be a vendor to sell your stuff or $20 at the day of the event. It's free to browse and shop! Vendor set-up starts at 8am, Swap Meet officially begins at 11am and ends promptly at 3pm.
Folks do not have to live on the West Side to sell items. The $5 vendor fee helps support the initiatives of the West Side Neighborhood Association.

What is a Swap Meet?
If you love a good yard sale, garage sale, rummage sale or whatever you call it, you're going to love a swap meet. Sell your stuff you no longer want or need to folks who may want it! Instead of selling from your yard or garage, vendors are encouraged to bring tables, lay down tarps or blankets and sell their secondhand or gently used items. A swap meet an opportunity for folks to make a little bit of money, but also gives a second life to items that would have otherwise gone to the landfill.
What can I sell?
Folks are encouraged to reserve a space to sell their items, including books, clothing, housewares, furniture, electronics, tools and toys. Vendors are responsible for getting their stuff in and out of the Community Center gym and must supply their own tables and set-up materials.
What do I do with the stuff after the Swap Meet?
Vendors have the opportunity to opt-in to donate any unsold merchandise to a local community organization, like Salvation Army, Mountain Mission and ReStore at the end of the Swap Meet. Of course, vendors can feel free to take the items back home!
Is there a cost to participate?
It is $5 to be a vendor to sell your stuff (early bird pricing) or $20 at the day of the event. It's free to browse and shop!
What else should I know?
There will be food trucks and public restrooms on-site.
