West Midlands supported internship event

National figures highlight the need for effective programmes aimed at getting learners with special educational needs and disabilities into employment with just 4.8% of adults with a learning disability known to adult social care in paid work.

The West Midlands supported internship event will showcase innovation from across the region giving an opportunity to hear about the inspiring and effective partnership work between employers and further education colleges.

Hosted by Shoosmith with support from the West Midlands Combined Authority and Skills West Midlands and Warwickshire the event will be an opportunity for professionals working in HR and specialist education and employment services to learn about best practice in the delivery of supported internships.
