This FB page is created to rally support to oppose Heavy Industry Rezoning petition in West Lafayette that PRF filed.. The planned I3 rezoning area is located too close to our dense neighborhoods and cause big concerns on safety and well beings of communities who live nearby. A semiconductor industry, known for their toxic materials use and wastes, fire hazards, and health hazards requested the whole 121 acres. On March 19, APC has voted down the petition 9-5 (a big win for communities!), but their decisions are not final. On Monday, May 5th, 6:30pm, West Lafayette City Council will make their FINAL votes on this petition. We would appreciate supports from the community to attend and speak up at W.L. City Council Meeting. Thank you.
