The City of West Hollywood presents its annual celebration for Harvey Milk Day and kick-off for WeHo Pride, with the third annual José Sarria Drag Pageant.
José Sarria was the first openly gay person to run for office in the United States, helped pave the way for Harvey Milk’s successful run for office, was a well-known drag performer as the Widow Norton, and founded the Imperial Court System, which is one of the oldest and largest LGBT organizations in the world.
Hosts and judges to be announced.
This celebration will feature other festivities and resources in addition to the Drag Pageant. More details coming soon.
