The West Garland Neighborhood Association will hold its quarterly meeting in the Hollabaugh Rec Center located at 3925 W. Walnut St, starting at 7pm on Thursday 1/22/26. Everyone in Garland's District 6 is invited. There are no dues - we're just a group of volunteers trying to improve communication and thereby improve our neighborhood.
Our featured speaker will present an overview of the new West Garland Library which is located adjacent to the Hollabaugh Rec Center. District 6's City Council Rep, Carissa Dutton and our Neighborhood Police Officer (“NPO”) team will also be in attendance. Since this is our first quarterly meeting of the year, there will be a call for volunteers and voting on some WGNA Officer positions. As usual, there will be a brief open-discussion period where attendees can politely ask questions or suggest topics.
FYI, the boundaries for WGNA and District 6 are Buckingham Road on the north, Forest Lane on the south, Shiloh Road on the east, and the city-limit-line on the west. It also includes the "Williams neighborhood" between Forest Lane and Miller Road, from Shiloh Road to Garland Road. And the Riverset community.
