About this Event
We will be offering 3 levels of classes, with a 15 minute practica (practice dance) between each lesson. Make sure to choose the class that makes sense for you! Absolute Beginners are encouraged to take the Beginning/Intro class. More experienced dancers are encouraged to take the Level II and/or Level III classes. No partner needed for any level!

West Coast Swing is characterized by a very distinct "up beat" in the music. If you've been told you have "no rhythm" or “two left feet”, West Coast Swing might just be the dance to change your fate! By the end of this workshop, you will be dancing, moving, and grooving with a partner. You don't need ANY previous experience for our Intro class and you DON’T need a partner to join. What is a Practica?
A practica is a great place to practice with dancers of ALL levels. As opposed to a more formal event such as a "social dance", a practica serves as a safe learning environment for everyone to practice what they’re learning. Dancing with partners of varying levels is great way to see what's working and what's not. Teachers are floating around the room to offer guidance. We will share drinks, snacks, and dancing!
