Join us and discover a dance that’s fun, versatile, and incredibly cool! In just two hours, Heather will get you moving and grooving with the basics of West Coast Swing.
You’ll learn everything you need to know to hit the dance floor with confidence and keep dancing for hours! This isn’t just about steps; it’s about unlocking a whole new way to connect with music and a partner.
What You’ll Learn to Swing To:
- Dance to ANY Music! From pop and R&B to blues and contemporary hits, West Coast Swing works with it all!
- The Magic of 6-Counts: Master the four basic 6-count patterns that are the building blocks of West Coast Swing – you’ll be dancing right away!
- Connect with Your Partner: Learn the secrets of comfortable handholds and clear connection for smooth, enjoyable dancing.
- Open & Closed Positions: Explore both close and dynamic open positions to add variety to your dance.
- Handhold Hacks: Discover simple ways to change handholds and instantly add flair to your moves.
- Spice it Up with 8-Counts: Expand your repertoire with two fun and slightly longer 8-count patterns.
- Feel the Rhythm: Get in tune with the smooth, syncopated rhythm that makes West Coast Swing so addictive!
