To celebrate the end of the 6-Week West Coast Swing Series, local dancer and choreographer Rachel Hayes is hosting a fun social dance on Thursday, December 18th! Schedule: Thursday, December 18th
Part One: 6:00-6:45PM West Coast Swing class *
*If you have been a part of the 6 week series OR you already know your West Coast Swing basics, you may join us for the class at 6PM. Students will be reviewing all of the patterns covered in the series so far, such as the sugar push, left side pass, sugar tuck, and whip. Participants do not need to come with a dancing partner.
Part Two: 7:00-9:30PM Social Dance ONLY
The second half of the evening, will be a social dance open to anyone. If you would like to attend the entire class and social dance, tickets are $20 per person. If you are interested in just the social dance, tickets are $10 per person. Drinks will be available at the bar for purchase during this last hurrah!
We encourage you to bring friends or family and make a special evening out of these terrific dance sessions. People of all backgrounds are welcome to join and learn more about dance! No dance experience necessary!
Rachel Hayes is a lifelong dancer and has experience teaching Salsa, Bachata, West Coast Swing, and Fusion at Chapman University. Hayes holds a 1st Place award in Advanced West Coast Swing from the 2019 US Open Swing Dance Championships.
