Kick off your Friday night with a full West Coast Swing experience designed for beginners, social dancers, and seasoned competitors. Start with Line Dancing from 6–7pm (optional), then roll straight into structured WCS lessons and a social that keeps the floor moving until 10pm.
6:00–7:00pm – Line Dancing (optional warm-up hour, $10)
7:00–7:45pm – Beginner West Coast Swing
Learn the core patterns, timing, connection, and footwork that make WCS smooth, stretchy, and endlessly musical.
7:45–8:30pm – Intermediate West Coast Swing
Build on your foundation with technique-driven variations, musicality, rotation, and partnered control.
8:30–10:00pm – WCS Dance Party
Modern, bluesy, pop, and contemporary tracks with the blend Phoenix dancers love. Friendly, social, and leader/follower balanced.
Pricing
$15 – Non-members / $10 – GPSDC members
GPSDC (Greater Phoenix Swing Dance Club) memberships are $45 and include the weekly $5 event discount, making this one of the most affordable WCS nights in the Valley.
What You’ll Experience
West Coast Swing is smooth, elastic, and improvisational — a partner dance built for creativity and modern music. Expect a welcoming crowd, clear instruction, and a dance floor that supports all levels. Wear comfortable clothes and smooth-soled shoes (no grip bottoms). Bring water and be ready to move.
