Try something new this winter! Join us for a special session of dance lessons in downtown Frederick MD. Tuesdays 7-8pm - WCS with Amanda & Ben -- West Coast Swing is the contemporary iteration of traditional swing dancing. Movements in WCS are smooth and moderate tempo, with an emphasis on lyrical musicality. A variety of music can be used including top 40 / pop, hip-hop, r&b, soul/blues and country.

Tuesdays 8-9pm - Jukin' Blues with Amanda -- Blues Dance is how we refer to the family of vernacular dances that evolved alongside Blues Music. Blues Dance moves vary in energy level but are typically small, slow, and efficient for all-night, late-night dancing in a crowded music venue. Dancers focus on interpreting the music through improvisation, rearranging historical idioms according to their own imaginations.
