This 8 hour course is taught over 4 weeks by Steve & Kate, and you'll learn:
โ๏ธ 6 and 8 count rhythm structure
โ๏ธ Fundamental patterns and transitional patterns
โ๏ธ Solo drills
โ๏ธ Connection and partner technique for a follower and a leader
We'll rotate partners and there'll be a chance to ask for feedback during class. West Coast Swing is de-gendered and anyone can choose to sign-up as a leader or a follower.

The hall has a sprung wooden floor.

It's for new dancers and those who want a refresher on the technique and connection of West Coast Swing without thinking as much about the steps and counting. You may also be an experienced West Coast Swing dancer in one role and wish to learn the other role. Places are offered to those first who can attend all 4 weeks. We will role-balance this programme, and followers may be placed on a waiting list until Leaders book on.
