West Bodley Farm is hosting a Pop-Up Supper, offering our home raised and home grown produce, in an intimate, social atmosphere.We raise and grow our food sustainably, maintaining fields booming with life, supported by biodiversity and carefully maintained by small numbers of heritage sheep, pigs, goats and poultry. In order to conserve the environment, West Bodley’s vegetables and fruit are mainly heirloom varieties, grown from seed we save year on year to protect those varieties.
Our autumn mutton is lamb that has lived just over 2 years, was conceived and born at WBF, lived outside on nothing but pasture, avoiding antibiotics and other vaccines.
The Autumn Supper Menu will include:
*Liver pate & chutney with sourdough
Pea and Bean Hummus & chutney with sourdough (V/VG)
* Vegetable broth with parsnip dumplings (suitable for V/VG)
* Slow roast leg of mutton with shallots & seasonal vegetables
Ultimate Autumn Couscous with roasted pumpkin and butterbean (V/VG)
* Poached quince & Medlars
