The best of Newcastle’s music scene. Returning for its 4th year on the 5th October 2025, West Best Bloc Fest will give punters access to 12 stages and 100 home grown artists in one day. Spread across 9 venues in the West End on the block bordered by Steel St, Union St, King St and Hunter St, West Best Bloc Fest is by far the biggest celebration of local artists in Newcastle's live music calendar.
Newcastle has a rich history in live music and the scene has continued to evolve; creativity will always find a way to survive. West best Bloc Fest is indicative of a return to form in Newcastle’s music scene, driven entirely by local bands, businesses and individuals.
