Join us at West Art for a special hometown double-header to celebrate the release of Denison Witmer's latest album, Anything At All. This gorgeous collection of songs was released in February 2025 by Asthmatic Kitty Records and showcases Witmer’s enduring collaboration with Sufjan Stevens, who produced and arranged the record. It’s a fresh take on Witmer's signature sound, blending his introspective songwriting with Stevens' distinctive production style.On Saturday, February 7, Denison will be joined by The Nielsen Family Band and Bad Hints to perform Anything At All as a full band. This show will start at 7:30pm.
On Sunday, February 8, Denison will be back for an "unplugged"-style matinee solo show, celebrating his deep catalogue with an afternoon of songs and stories. This show will start at 3pm up in the intimate, stained-glass setting of The Sanctuary.
Why have to choose? The shows are $25 each, or you can pick up a combined ticket for $40. It'll be a weekend of fantastic music, and we hope that you'll plan to join us!
What to expect at the show:
>> Doors will open at 1 hour before the show. (6:30pm on Feb 7th, and 2:00pm on Feb 8th)
>> Tickets start at $25 in advance. There are also ticket packages available for both show dates. As always, we’re proud to present an all-ages show!
>> Parking may be available in the small lot across the street. Beyond that, there’s parking available around Buchanan Park and F&M College in the blocks surrounding West Art.
>> Format: On February 7th, the show will be mostly standing in City Hall with some limited seating, and limited reserved Balcony seating. On February 8th, the show will be seated in The Sanctuary. Our space is ADA accessible, and we will do our best to accommodate any specific needs.
>> If you haven't yet discovered the magic of the Art Bar, now's your chance! We're open from 7 am-10 pm daily, with a full and delicious espresso bar menu, along with a lovely selection of beer, wine, and cocktails, plenty of N/A options, and some tasty bites from our favorite local bakeries. Something for everyone, all day long! Come hang out before the show and experience it for yourself!
