Gather your loved ones and join us in Bristol for our Portrait Open Day! We’re delighted to be hosting this special event at our Downend studio on Saturday 22nd November 2025 from 10am until 3pm (approx).
It’s the perfect chance to step in front of the camera for relaxed, natural portraits – whether you come as a family, couple, friend group or on your own. Our studio doors will be wide open, and we can’t wait to capture you at your best. Pets are also welcome to attend as they’re part of the family. Read on for all the details.

Our Portrait Open Day is the perfect chance to gather the family and get a professional photo taken – ready in time for Christmas. Whether it’s parents and kids, grandparents, couples, a friend group or the whole family including the family dog tagging along, we welcome groups of up to 8 people into our studio for a fun, relaxed mini photoshoot at our portrait open day.
Each session lasts up to 10 minutes, approximately, giving us time to capture a few different poses of everyone together. It’s quick, easy and enjoyable – ideal for those who want beautiful family photos without committing to a full portrait session.
It’s an open day you can just drop by our studio: West 70 Photography Studio, 9 Cleeve Wood Road, Downend, Bristol, BS16 2SF between 10am til 3pm (approx) on Saturday 22nd November 2025. We’ll be ready to capture some relaxed and informal photos of your family at its best.
