We are absolutely thrilled to be hosting an evening with acclaimed, award-winning writer WENDY ERSKINE as she heads to Birmingham to discuss her daring, multi-perspective debut novel of motherhood, class & money THE BENEFACTORS.
The event will be chaired by Birmingham writer TAYLOR BURNS

WENDY ERSKINE works in Belfast. Her short story collection ‘Sweet Home’ was published by The Stinging Fly Press in 2018 & Picador in 2019. It was shortlisted for The Republic of Consciousness Prize & the Edge Hill Prize & longlisted for the Gordon Burn Prize. Her writing has appeared in anthologies by Doire, Dostoyevsky Wannabe, Faber & Faber, New Island, No Alibis, Repeater, The Stinging Fly, Winter Papers, & in various journals. Her work has been broadcast on BBC Radio 4 & RTE Radio 1.
This is one of our DIALOGUE events, hosting interviews with experimental contemporary authors, picking at the threads of their new works & the ideas that underpin them.
