This in-person event is about sharing some hope and choosing love and support at a time when so many of us across the globe are facing tragedy. We hope that music, the one universal language we share, will touch your heart and inspire change.

Wendy Bevan and co-writer Seiriol Davies dust off their song book by revisiting songs from their dark, theatrical and sparkling catalogue, including material written for their band Temper Temper. Inspired by this night of compassion, 'Keep Kind' is a selection of torch songs from these times, written and revamped by the duo, many of which have never been performed.

'Wendy Bevan's presence is equal parts Dietrich and Medusa, and her hauntingly beautiful voice echoes over the torrential waves of music, led by the wild-coiffured pianist, Seiriol Davies' madcap, expert playing' (Broadway Baby *****)

Wendy is a Musician; a vocalist and violinist. Her most recent 4-album, cosmic landscape Astronomia, was co-written with Duran Duran's Nick Rhodes, hailed as a 'prolific duo' (Forbes) their project became the “Transcendent Soundtrack for our Perilous Time” (Vogue) Bevan continues to explore our universal language as the ineffable experience of music that unites us, combining a surreal and theatrical approach to her work as a performer and story teller. In 2022 she was invited to be part of the Bird Song Project. Her track The Calling is featured alongside other artists including Nick Cave, John Cale, Laurie Anderson, Karen O.Wendy has just finished recording her new vocal album Fragile Times, which is now ready to be released in 2024. “A marvellous chanteuse.” (The Times) “Exquisitely atmospheric.” ( American Songwriter)

Seiriol Davies writes and performs epic, glittery, witty, subversive musicals and opera, lauded both commercially and critically. A believer in the power of shared joy to change hearts, they have made smash hit shows at the Young Vic, Old Vic, Wales Millennium Centre, The Barbican among many others, dubbed "genius" (The Telegraph), "visionary" (Time Out) and "brilliant" (The Guardian).

Bevan and Davies first collaborated on the Punchdrunk show The Black Diamond over a decade ago, from this moment their creative partnership blosomed. They are both now thrilled to be returning to the Bevan Davies songbook to finally unleash some of the dark, glorious magic that the two create together to a wider audience.
