The snow stopped falling as the screaming began.At first, they thought it was just the wind slipping through the pines, a long, hollow moan bending down the fairway. Then it called their names—wrongly, as if its mouth had never learned how human sounds fit together. The group stopped in their tracks, breath burning in their lungs, discs shaking in their hands.
Something tall moved through the trees behind the basket. Too tall. Its limbs bent where no joints should be, skin stretched thin and pale like frostbitten parchment. Antlers crowned its skull, slick with frozen blood. Its eyes reflected no light—just emptiness, as if the night itself stared back at them.
The smell hit next: rot and old meat, sweet and unbearable. The whole group was gagging. It smiled.
Its mouth split wider than a face should allow, revealing teeth packed in layers, chattering softly like bones in a sack. It mimicked their voices, "Nice!", "Good Bid!", "Stupid ass game anyway".
They ran.
Snow didn’t slow it. Trees shattered as it passed. Hot breath brushed their necks, and claws scraped at their bags.
They never found the bodies—just their torn bags and their discs scattered throughout the woods.

Come brave the elements and attempt to survive the WENDIGO OPEN 7, Saturday February 28th (With the possibility of moving it to Saturday March 7th depending on weather)!
Sadly, we won't be able to hold the event at Waterfront Bar & Grill this year, but we'll be creating a unique layout at Phelan Park and possibly another unique pop-up course close by!
Check-in, lunch, and awards will be held at Zymurgy Brewing Company.
This is a singles event with two (possibly 3) rounds. $30/person.
Entry for both A pool and B pool Divisions.
Divisions cap at 25 - Player cap of 50!!!

Tentative schedule will be posted at a later date along with information for ordering limited edition Wendigo 7 apparel!
