The first Wellness, Writing and Watercolor Women's Workshop is here and YOU'RE invited! This workshop is curated just for you to connect, create and restore. A time to push pause on our daily routines, step away from perfection and noise, and just come and be you. Fall is the perfect time to set new goals and intentions, a time to reset and renew.
We will start outside with a gentle and grounding yoga flow led by Cassidy Glad, Owner and Studio Mama of Pulse Barre & Fitness. If you haven't met Cass, she's a giver and life changer and you'll thank me later. For those of you who already know her...I knew you would be here. ◡̈
We will head inside from there, grab a juice from Mama Roots and/or coffee, sweet treat, and grab a seat to start the creative writing prompts led by the very creative, passionate and talented Charity Benedict. This will be an intentional practice to hopefully give you a push to start writing/journaling on your own or pick back up where you might have left off. The practice will be for you without judgement or any need to share. Take from it what you want, but also take home the hard cover cotton paper journal that is included for you.
We will move right into painting with watercolor with a beginners level of instruction led by me, LeeAnn with HuArt Art & Design. We will use your new journal to practice using the watercolor medium, practice techniques and tips and then we'll use those lessons to paint a beautiful autumnal Sunflower on a watercolor greeting card, to keep for yourself or gift to a friend.
On your way out, you'll be greeted by the brand new floral cart by For Floral Sake who will have fresh, seasonal blooms like Sunflowers, Black Eyed Susans and much, much more for you to grab and buy your own bouquet to take home.
All of these curated experiences are included for you to connect, create and restore. A day for you, a day for us, an intentional time to be in the moment, a day with friends - new or not-so-new, a pause, an opportunity to restart with the season, try something new, let go of our inhibitions and create, and JUST BE WHO YOU ARE, AS YOU ARE.
It gets harder and harder to make new friends and get outside of our daily lives and routines. If you needed an excuse to put yourself first, here it is.
Bring a friend, meet new friends, try something new, feel inspired, feel renewed, and feel connection.
