Cheryl Farthing and Mariska van Egmond will be teaching this workshop which is a beautiful blend of Nia movement, card pulls, guided meditation with breath work After a mix and mingle break and a chance to meet some new people, make friends and sample some healthy, nourishing but delicious snacks it will be completed by a Crystal Healing sound bath . It's a workshop designed to get you out of your head, and into your body and to land in bliss. A perfect antidote to stress, anxiety and overwhelm.
Nia dance is a blend of contemporary dance, martial arts, and Yoga. It's low impact and safe on your joint and it doesn't matter what age, or shape you are anybody can do Nia. Mariska has a wonderful way of bringing one of Nia's main principle into her teaching - pleasure. You are encouraged to move in your body’s own way, and all the movements can be adapted.
Cheryl Farthing is a relaxed and inclusive Yoga and Meditation teacher with over 20 year’s experience. She has a warm grounded energy and creates a space that safely supports deep restorative and release as well as clarity of the mind and bliss. She will be guiding the meditation, breath work and sound journey. This sound journey will be complimented by tones from the crystal bowls and shimmering ripples from the gong, inspiring a natural calibration of the energy centres of the body. The vibrations entice you into relaxation of the body and soothe the mind as we journey inward to clear blockages making space for whatever is needed in that moment. The aim is to expand consciousness to a higher level, to facilitate release, energetic shifts, self-healing, and reconnection with the pure self.
