About this Event
Stress is the body's alarm system. It is beneficial when the alarm is sounding at the appropriate time and we can respond in a way to keep us safe and calm. However, if the body's alarm is ringing consistently and at inappropriate times, that can negatively impact our emotional and physical well-being.
This workshop will explain:

- The impact of stress
- Provide skills to enhance resilience to manage stressors
About the presenter: Kim Langston is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has provided therapeutic services within the Chicagoland area over 20 years. She believes in the ability for people to change, evolve and heal. Kim is continually grateful for all those that have allowed her to have a seat at the table of their lives.
