Angela Ballard, BS, LMT
Angela Ballard is the owner and operator of Wellness Grooves LLC and Wellness Grooves Spa. With a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a license in Massage Therapy, Angela is a passionate health advocate. She has developed her own line of natural body products called NON-Butter and has a flourishing career as a singer/songwriter under the name "Anonamas Grooves." Transitioning from a 15-year career in Clinical Research, Angela is now a successful entrepreneur in the art, health, and wellness sectors. She offers massage therapy services at her spa and remains an active member of the artist community, performing with various music groups and as a solo artist.
Colie Aziza
Colie Aziza's devotion to music and theater led her to perform in various professional theater productions, including a Kennedy Center National Tour. Inspired by legends like Ella Fitzgerald and Stevie Wonder, Colie developed her own unique sound and released her debut CD, "Light Up The Darkness," in 2011. She continues to perform with groups such as Liberated Muse Arts Group, Deep Water Jazz, and her ensemble, Soul For A New Day. Colie is also an author, publishing her first children’s book, "Corey’s Dreams," in 2016, and she encourages both adults and young people to follow their dreams.
Dr. Khadijah Z. Ali-Coleman
Dr. Khadijah Z. Ali-Coleman is a visionary cultural curator and the founding CEO of Black Writers for Peace and Social Justice (BWPSJ). With over two decades of experience, she has transformed spaces into vibrant centers of artistic and educational engagement. An award-winning performance artist, writer, playwright, and filmmaker, Dr. Ali-Coleman is currently the Poet Laureate of Prince George's County, Maryland. She has contributed extensively to community and digital publications, covered critical issues in education and the arts, and published several books. Dr. Ali-Coleman is also the founder of Liberated Muse and co-founder of the national education research group BFHES, providing vital support to thousands of families.
