We are delighted that three Wellcome Trust panel members (Dr Andy Flack, Dr Josie Gill, Dr Sam Goodman) will join us to talk about the funding application process. This session will focus on early career funding for humanities & social science researchers. It will outline the schemes available to you, the process (from application to interview) and share some top tips from the panel. It is open to (prospective) University of Bristol applicants from any department, and to supervisors or sponsors for ECR applications.
We will have a roundtable for the 'tips and advice' section of this event with questions sent by you in advance. Please send your questions to [email protected] by Friday 21st October.
Tea and coffee will be provided.
We may be able to provide limited travel bursaries for prospective University of Bristol funding candidates who are not currently based here - please get in touch at the same email address to discuss this.
Hosted by the Centre for Health, Humanities & Science at the University of Bristol. Please note that this is an in-person event and will not be streamed or recorded, but we have ensured it is on a non-teaching afternoon and in an accessible building. We will be meeting in room G16, Cotham House.
