About this Event

Join us in a group walk!

Wellbeing Walks are a popular way of encouraging people to consider walking as something that may support mental health and overall wellbeing.  The intention of Wellbeing Walks is to simply promote the potential benefits of walking in nature.  Please see link below (from the National Trust website)

The course is free of charge and is available to people that are over 18 and who live, work, study or care in Mid-Essex.

We ask all students to enrol with the Mid-Essex Recovery College prior to attending their first course to ensure that we are providing effective support for all students. New students will be emailed a link in order to complete the enrolment form.

If there is anything that you would like to discuss with us before the workshop runs please contact us on [email protected] and a member of the team will be in touch

The Mid-Essex Recovery College will provide a safe space for people to learn new skills, expand on existing ones, and attend courses developed to support mental health recovery. COURSES ARE THEREFORE NOT INTENDED TO BE ACCREDITED, however certificates are provided on completion.

Co-production is a core feature of recovery college ethos. Our courses are all co-produced by experts by experience (individuals with lived experience of mental health), as well as individuals with professional experience of working for mental health services
