Come and join me for a "Walk and Talk" wellbeing meet. It is a wonderful way to blend physical activity with social interaction, fostering both mental and physical health. These gatherings provide an opportunity to engage in light exercise while connecting with others in a relaxed, informal setting.Walking, known for its numerous health benefits, can improve cardiovascular health, boost mood, and reduce stress. Whether you're looking to make new friends, explore new topics, or simply enjoy some fresh air, these meets offer a supportive environment to do so. Plus, the monthly schedule makes it easy to incorporate into your routine, ensuring that you have a consistent outlet for relaxation and connection.
The walks themselves will be approximately 3 miles and taken at a steady pace. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. We will meet in the Boating Lake car park, near Oriental Express for a prompt start at 6:30pm and will end back there no later than 8pm. Bring your own refreshments!
This activity is open to all who feel they can manage it. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please respond as attending within the Facebook event or contact me so I can be aware of numbers.
