About this Event
The Vavengers have launched pop-up support hubs which are safe spaces open to all women and girls. At the hub, we will listen to and talk about any health and well-being concerns, host health sessions, and give away free products. These hubs are created to bring the community together and understand the issues women and girls are facing and are free to anyone who would like to attend.
We will also support women and girls affected by or at risk of Gender-Based Violence (GBV) including:
- Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting (FGM/C)
- Physical violence
- Emotional abuse
- Psychological abuseare
- Sexual abuse
- Financial and/or economic abuse
We also welcome refugees and asylum seekers and anyone who is interested in getting information on Gender-Based Violence.

Our support hubs run for up to three hours and include:
- Wellbeing sessions (emotional freedom technique, stretching or chair yoga)
- Informational sessions on Gender-Based Violence including FGM/C and domestic violence
- Free supplies (essential items such as period pads and/or food)
- An informational booklet with reporting and support lines available in the UK
These sessions are free to anyone who might need our support. Spaces are limited, please book your ticket now to secure your place.
All of our employees, volunteers and facilitators who work with children and vulnerable adults are DBS cleared and children are welcome to join these workshops with their parents/guardians present.
