What is Well-Read Mom?
Well-Read Mom accompanies women in the reading of great books and spiritual classics to encourage personal growth, friendship, and meaningful conversations in order to explore the human condition and reorient ourselves to what is good, beautiful, and true. (Mission Statement from Well-Read Mom)
Each year has a theme and this year it is Year of the Teacher.
You don't need to read any books to prepare for September's kickoff meeting, but it is recommended that you read over the September pages of your Reading Companion (you get one of these when you register online at www.wellreadmom.com).
Nursing babies and "lap babies" are welcome! Also please know that we've been blessed to have new moms in the group, women who have adult sons and daughters, and even a few women who are not physical mothers, and this has enriched the experience. All women are welcome.
