This event aims to bring together UK Police & MOD leaders responsible for Welfare Support in the context of PSD and IOPC Investigations & explores Trauma Peer Support services. It's a day to learn, share and network with peers in the same field. We will be presenting on challenging topics such as the role of Welfare Support Officers and PSDs in the Met over the last decade, navigating through suspension procedures, media interest, criminal bail and imprisonment. We will be hearing about post-vention suicide support from an B/OCU Commander, the Coronial processes from our Legal Services colleagues and the vital role of family liasion. You will hear from guest speakers and have networking opportunites with peers working in the same field. Complimentory refreshments and a buffet lunch is included.
