Welcoming Spring - A Ritual of the Senses

On Saturday the 5th of Oct the Loft will be transformed into a temple of the Goddess where it's our bodies that become a place of worship.
The world we live in has a way of disconnecting us from ourselves, from each other, from our environment, from our true essence.. Sometimes we just need a moment to reconnect. This is that moment.
If you listen closely the shifts in seasons can be felt in the body. From the hibernation of winter, transitioning into spring; often there's a restlessness that’s felt. What does your body need to thrive? What is it asking for?
Here you will have the opportunity to listen to your inner wisdom, and to lean into ancient eastern knowledge to nourish your physical, emotional and spiritual health. Whilst also having a laugh and some juicy fun in the process.
You will Learn:
About the Five Element Model under TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) and the Spring Element of Wood
Key Acupressure points you can use on yourself
Ways of inviting more sensation through your body
The art of Devotional touch through a guided 5 Senses Ritual
In Kaula lineages of Tantra, the senses are sacred and worshiped as the Goddess. We make offerings to the senses as a gateway to our divine nature and as a way to fully embrace life.
When we activate all of our senses we become so deeply intimate with life, allowing the pleasure we experience to become a meditation. One that guides us into a melty space of bliss and gratitude, honoring this gift of existence.
So bring a friend, a partner or just bring yourself. Yes single pringles are welcome!
The cost includes tea, a selection of treats and sensory tools. Tickets are essential for catering purposes.
*The ritual will be sensual in nature but not sexual and we will be working in pairs or groups. Please note that everything is invitational and you do not have to do anything that you don't feel comfortable with during the evening. Boundaries and individual limits of participation are encouraged first & foremost and considered extremely important.
WHAT TO BRING
- Wear warm comfy layers that you can take off if you would like to expose more skin for the activities e.g. arms, legs, back etc.
- A water bottle
- We will have Pillows and yoga mats available but bring anything else you need to feel comfortable as we will be sitting on the floor.
LOCATION
- The Loft is located in East Fremantle. The address will be supplied to attendees via email.
I'd like this to be accessible for all so I've made some low income tickets available. Please reach out if these are still out of your budget and lets chat.
PHOTO
Photos and video will be taken during the event for marketing purposes, mainly for promoting the workshops of this series. It's with the intention of capturing the essence of the event rather than to capture individuals in vulnerable states.
Any questions please reach out. I'd love to hear from you. X
