We know communities are stronger and more cohesive when people from all backgrounds have the opportunity to get to know one another and work side by side to advance the common good.Welcoming Week (September 12-21, 2025) was created by Welcoming America (welcomingamerica.org) and is a celebration to promote cross-cultural understanding and raise awareness of the benefits of welcoming everyone!
On Saturday, September 13th, the YMCA of Greater Charleston is locally celebrating the "welcoming" community at the Cane Bay Family YMCA. We will have food trucks and cultural presentations, vendors between 12:00PM to 2:30PM, also, Zumbathon® Charity Event "Cut Loose for the Community 2025" to raise YMCA scholarship fund for the children and families in need of support.
This event is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
