You might have spotted some new orange and white markers around the park or seen the posters and maps on our Kettle Run Road East Kiosk— they’re part of our brand-new orienteering course! Designed to teach navigation using a compass and a map, it’s a fun and challenging way to explore the outdoors. Join Trail Crew Leader Rich Taylor as he introduces the sport of navigation and shows you how to get started on the course. Bring a compass if you have one. Our trails have hard and soft sand, slight elevations, roots, and stumps and some wet areas. Porta Potty is available at the beginning and end of hike Ready to test your skills? Come give it a try!
