Join us for a guided bird walk of Belle Isle in partnership with Belle Isle Nature Center. This walk will highlight the avian biodiversity for forest, river and marsh species such as waterfowl and songbirds. Birders of all experience levels are welcome! This walk will take place on the Nashua Canal Trail and is one-mile in length on a paved surface through woodland and wetland.Terrain: Easy walking on level trail. Moderately very slight uphill-- maybe a foot or two climb on one of the woodland trails. (The walking trail is wheel chair accessible). Some sections of the trail are gravel.
Binoculars can be loaned to those who do not have their own. Weather may be chilly, especially near the water, so be sure to dress appropriately.
