Celebrate culture, community, and new beginnings at the Tigers Club of UOW Welcome Party – Boishakh Edition, proudly sponsored by StudyNet. Join us at Duck Pond, UOW, for a vibrant multicultural celebration inspired by the Bengali New Year (Boishakh), bringing students from all backgrounds together for an unforgettable day of music, food, games, performances, and social connection.
Enjoy a lively atmosphere filled with traditional Boishakhi decorations, cultural vibes, fun community activities, and opportunities to meet new people and make lasting friendships. The event will feature exciting games such as Musical Chairs, Lemon Spoon Race, and Pass the Parcel, along with Best Saree and Best Punjabi competitions.
Experience delicious South Asian street food including Fuchka, Jhal Muri, and Mishti while enjoying live Bangla dance performances, group singing, band performances, and entertainment from students representing different cultures and communities. The celebration will end with an energetic DJ dance floor where everyone can come together and enjoy the night.
