Join us for a special FREE party and pot luck on Saturday, Jan. 24, to welcome Jay Kaneholani-Morningstar’s Hula school to the studio and to showcase the many dance forms we have at Candela!The school, Hālau Hula ‘O Nuku ‘Āina, has been operating out of Candela but is now expanding its role and offering more classes each week, as well as special events down the line.
They are an award-winning Hula school, and most recently performed at Art Along the Rogue.
The evening will include:
• Hula demos and performances
• Demos/mini classes in other styles offered at Candela (including Belly Belly, West Coast Swing & more)
• Open dancing and an evening of joy, laughter, community and new beginnings
This is an optional pot luck; you are welcome to bring food to share, but it is not required.
Simply show up and enjoy the evening!
Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
All ages welcome!
