We are eager to welcome you and will do everything we can to meet your accessibility needs.

Carol Lou Woodward a proud native of Peru Indiana spent nearly six decades contributing to the Richmond community by sharing her talents as a pianist. Moving to Richmond in 1958 she quickly became active in the local arts scene. Whether accompanying musical theater productions at the Civic Theatre playing the iconic Rhapsody in Blue with the Richmond Symphony Orchestra in 1964 or providing piano accompaniment at First Presbyterian Church Carol Lou has been a steadfast supporter of the cultural landscape.
Her extensive music career has also included 14 years of performing at Dinnie's Family Restaurant and collaborating with notable musicians such as Andy Simpkins and Jeff Hamilton during the Earlham Artist Series and with the Richmond Symphony. Carol Lou's friendships with jazz legends Harold Jones and Jeff Hamilton dating back to Harold’s and Jeff’s high school days have made these reunions especially meaningful.
Since relocating to Fort Myers Florida in 2016 Carol Lou has continued to share her musical gifts performing at Paris Saigon restaurant accompanying a rock/gospel men's quartet and providing piano accompaniment for the Lexington Country Club Chorale during the winter season. She also volunteers her time playing piano in the atrium at Healthpark Medical Center offering comfort and support to those in need.
Carol Lou hopes to inspire all with her passion for music and dedication to family and community.
