On Wednesday, September 17, 2025, we will be welcoming home 80+ military heroes who served in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam—and we need YOU to help give them the unforgettable homecoming they deserve.📍 Location: Santa Maria Airport

In May 2025, over 1,000 people came together to welcome home our veterans in one of the most powerful moments the Central Coast has ever seen. Let’s do it again—bigger, louder, and prouder. Bring your flags, your signs, your cheers—and let’s fill the airport with love, pride, and patriotism.

🔔 Important Reminders:
Arrive Early:
We are expecting a large turnout, so please plan to arrive no later than 8:30 PM to ensure you're in place before the veterans arrive.
Parking Alert:
The Santa Maria Airport parking lot on the baggage claim side is under construction, which will significantly limit available spaces.
We strongly encourage carpooling and recommend allowing extra time for parking and walking to the terminal.
Schedule Flexibility:
Flight schedules can change. Please monitor our hotline (805-242-0536) or follow us on social media for the most up-to-date information.
Veteran Arrival Timing:
After the plane lands, it typically takes about 45 minutes for all veterans to deplane. They will not exit the secured area until every veteran is off the aircraft.
Where to Go:
Enter the airport through any door and make your way to the restaurant area, where the crowd will gather to welcome the veterans home.
Parking Rules:
Please do not park in red zones, loading areas, or restricted spots—violators may be ticketed or towed.
Dress Code – No Political Attire:
This event is hosted by a veteran nonprofit. To protect our nonprofit status, political clothing, flags, or signs are not permitted.
Anyone wearing political attire will be asked to change or leave in order to maintain the neutral and respectful spirit of the event.
Signs & Flags:
We highly encourage you to bring American flags, branch flags, and homemade patriotic signs to help create a warm and celebratory welcome. Please, no political signage.

Due to the expected crowd size, a formal volunteer briefing may not take place, so please be flexible and follow their direction if needed.
