About this Event
Join us in Bloomington for "Welcome Corps on the Road: Welcoming Communities in the Hoosier Heartland." Experience a celebration of Bloomington's diversity and commitment to being a welcoming community through an afternoon of guest speakers, conversation, and storytelling from local leaders, refugees, and sponsor groups.
is a United States Department of State program that enables Americans to privately sponsor and welcome refugees. Several Indiana families have already taken the first step forward to welcome refugees, and you can too.
Together, we can show the world what we mean by "Hoosier Hospitality."
This event is co-hosted by Welcome Corps, Patchwork Indy and the Monroe County Public Library. Welcome Corps on the Road is a part of the Welcome Corps Roadshow - a series of visits across the country to showcase the power of communities in welcoming refugees.
