It’s a long, strange trip…but only for a mile. We’ll let peace, love, and gardening lead the way. Come dressed in whatever kind of flower power powers you, be it summer of love or gardening glove!We’ll meet in West Market Square at noon and walk one mile together in a musical parade.
Weird Walkin’ Wednesdays are an excuse to dress up, have fun, get outside, raise a little ruckus, and walk a mile in the process. Everyone’s welcome to walk, roll, or stroll together. Costumes are encouraged but are optional, there’s no fee, and it won’t even take the whole lunch hour!
How to participate
1. Come with your your funky fashions (or garden gear)
(Or not! Everyone’s welcome to walk, roll, or stroll! whether in or out of costume!)
2. Meet in West Market Square at noon
3. Walk a one-mile route together
4. Throw peace signs to passerby
5. Disperse in good cheer
…and maybe head out for a nice lunch at one of the many Downtown Bangor eateries!
