16º WEIRD MARKET, MERCADO INTERNACIONAL DE ANIMACIÓN, VIDEOJUEGOS Y NEW MEDIADEL 1 AL 6 DE OCTUBRE DE 2024La Harinera y Las Naves, Valencia (España)
Weird Market abre las acreditaciones de su 16ª edición a todos los profesionales de la Animación, los Videojuegos y los New Media que quieran asistir del 1 al 6 de octubre de 2024, siendo la parte profesional los días 3, 4 y 5 de octubre. Una vez más, Weird Market reunirá a todo el talento nacional e internacional en una cita que contará con: conferencias, mesas redondas, networking, showroom de videojuegos, y la presentación de los mejores proyectos de animación y videojuegos que recopilamos un año más en nuestro catálogo.
El jueves 3 de octubre tendrá lugar Weird Invest, una sesión centrada en la inversión y financiación para proyectos de animación y videojuegos. Esta iniciativa que se realiza gracias al apoyo de ICEX, Animation from Spain y Games from Spain, tiene el objetivo de acercar nuevos modelos de financiación, analizar “case studies” y profundizar en el uso de tecnologías disruptivas. Contará con la participación de inversores, publishers e instituciones. Estará compuesta por conferencias y case studies en la mañana, y reuniones B2B en la tarde tras una comida de networking. Para estas reuniones B2B de Weird Invest es imprescindible tener acreditación Weird Invest antes del 17 de septiembre, contestar a las preguntas del formulario y recibir confirmación de plaza, debido a un aforo limitado.
Podrás solicitar acreditación Weird para las jornadas de viernes 4 y sábado 5 de octubre y/o la jornada de Weird Invest del 3 de octubre.
Toda la programación se publicará en la página de Weird Market en las próximas semanas. La Harinera y Las Naves serán la sede del recruitment, las reuniones B2B y toda la parte de conferencias y presentaciones; además del showroom de animación y videojuegos. La Filmoteca Valenciana, edificio Rialto, volverá a ser la sede de todas las proyecciones de cortometrajes del WFest (tardes del 1, 2, 3 y 6 de octubre)).
El último día para poder comprar entradas es el 24 de septiembre de 2024 a las 23:59h.
La app de reuniones estará disponible solo para profesionales que pertenezcan a una empresa o tengan un proyecto en el catálogo. Con ella se podrá conocer al resto de profesionales asistentes e incentivar el networking.

Weird Market opens the accreditations for its 16th edition to all Animation, Videogames and New Media professionals who want to attend from October 1st-6th 2024, with the professional part on October 3rd, 4th and 5th. Once again, Weird Market will bring together all the national and international talent in an event that will feature: conferences, round tables, networking, videogame showroom, and the presentation of the best animation and videogame projects that we have compiled once again this year in our catalogue.
On Thursday October 3rd, Weird Invest will take place, a session focused on investment and financing for animation and video game projects. This initiative, which is supported by ICEX, Animation from Spain and Games from Spain, aims to bring new financing models, analyse case studies and explore the use of disruptive technologies. It will be attended by investors, publishers and institutions. It will consist of lectures and case studies in the morning, and B2B meetings in the afternoon after a networking lunch. For these Weird Invest B2B meetings it is essential to have Weird Invest accreditation before September 17th, answer the questions on the form and receive confirmation of your registration, due to limited capacity.
You will be able to apply for Weird accreditation for Friday 4th and Saturday 5th of October and/or the Weird Invest event on October 3rd.
The full programme will be published on the Weird Market website in the coming weeks. La Harinera and Las Naves will be the venue for recruitment, B2B meetings and all the conferences and presentations, as well as the animation and videogames showroom. The Filmoteca Valenciana, in the Rialto building, will once again be the venue for all the WFest short film screenings (evenings of October 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 6th).
The last day to buy tickets is September 24th, 2024 at 23:59h.
The meetings app will only be available to professionals who belong to a company or have a project in the catalogue. With it you will be able to get to know the other professionals attending and encourage networking.
