Join Wisconsin Metro Audubon Society as we walk the nature center trails looking and listening for birds. Watch the weather, we will not go if it is raining hard or lightning.We typically walk about 2 hours depending on weather and bird activity. 1-2 miles distance over boardwalks, mulched trail and occasional dirt/grassy areas. As migration picks up, sometimes we stay longer - but you can leave when you need to, there is no commitment! The nature center has bathrooms but does not open until 8:30.
NOTE: there is no charge for the walk but Wehr Nature Center has a $5 parking fee. Friends of Wehr park free.
