What’s the point of prayer? Why does God care about what I do with my body? How can a good God allow suffering? Is the Bible trustworthy? What in the heck does “Episcopalian” mean?Every young Christian wrestles with questions like these—but too often they stay bottled up, unasked and unanswered. Big Questions will provide a space for our youth (ages 11–18) to bring their toughest, rawest, and most honest questions about God, life, and the Church. Nothing will be off-limits. Questions can be submitted confidentially to Father Patrick and Mother Ezgi through the “Big Question Box,” and many of our conversations will be shaped directly by what our youth want to talk about.
Big Questions will not be your ordinary youth formation class. It’s designed to be a dialogue—a chance to wrestle together with the mysteries of faith in a safe, supportive community. Whether you’re curious, skeptical, or searching, this will be the place for you.
Participation in Big Questions will also fulfill the formation requirements for confirmation.
