Meditation is a simple yet powerful tool that has been scientifically proven to boost your immune system, reduce your stress levels and improving your overall wellbeing. Consistent meditation practice can create long-lasting benefits to your physical health and brain function. This includes better quality sleep, lower blood pressure, improved focus and decision-making skills. Regular meditation practice can also increase feelings of compassion and empathy towards others, as you become calmer in your daily life.
The class will begin with a guided meditation that will incorporate breath (yoga breathing), mind and body awareness and a particular focus for the practice (e.g. gratitude embodiment).
The class will then follow with a brief reflection activity or discussion component to help integrate the practice and experience in your daily life.
On occasion, the class may include Sound Healing which will be announced prior to.
All are welcome, no prior meditation experience is required however the class is also suitable to experienced meditators looking to deepen their practice.
Our meditation classes will surround you with likeminded people, creating a sense of community and support that may even deepen your meditation experience as it brings a collective energy and focus in the one space.
