WEEKLY FREE WALKING TOURDiscover Utrecht on foot with a passionate and local guide!
In 2012 we were the first to offer free tours in Utrecht, because we felt the tourist industry didn’t match the needs of younger travelers., and because we wished the great historical wealth of this city would be better accessible to locals and visitors alike. Some of us are history graduates, work in tourism, or are professional guides elsewhere, but running the Utrecht Free Tours has always remained our passion and hobby! That’s why we regard tips as an optional way for guests to show their gratitude, not as a means for us to make money. This is what sets us apart from most other ‘free tour’ operators.
Every Saturday (except King's Day 2024) we start at 12:00 at the Dom square in between the Dom tower and the Dom church. You can recognize us by the red shirt and our Dom tower logo (in the colder months, look for someone waving a binder or paper with the logo).
Every tour is different, every tour is unique, but you can expect between two and three hours of stories ending somewhere close to the Dom tower again.
See you next Saturday!
