About this Event
Come join us for a fun hour out on the water at Lake Union! This event is all about bringing the community together for a leisurely paddle around the lake. The paddle will be led by a Buoy paddle leader. Whether you're a seasoned paddler or a newbie, everyone is welcome to join in on the fun. We'll meet at 2370 Fairview Ave E across from the E Louisa Shoreline Street End and set off on our adventure.
You will get to test out Buoy Water Club, a self-service rental locker for paddleboards and kayaks. Included with your paddle, Buoy supplies 8 - 11’3“ Starboard Inflatable Paddleboards, 2 Feelfree single kayaks, 2 Feelfree tandem kayaks , a carbon fiber and nylon blade paddle, a life jacket and waterproof phone case. The equipment is accessed via the Buoy Water Club web app available through a QR code on the locker. The equipment choice will be first come first serve.
All skill levels welcome, must be over 18 and be able to swim. Bring water, a towel, and a swimsuit.
*If you have your own equipment you are welcome to show up and join us without a ticket.
