What’s in Store?
Saturday:
• Learn the art of Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) – paint with your camera and break all the rules!
• Ignite your creative spark with our “Creativity Strengthens Us” sessions – discover how creative photography can keep your mind strong and vibrant.
• Experiment with abstract photography and explore creative techniques in the dark.
• Dive into post processing with Photoshop – get practical exercises that build your confidence and give your images that extra ‘something special’.
• Master the magic of Golden Light camera work.
Sunday:
• Experience Creative Portraiture from a fresh, non-conventional perspective (with advanced options like in-camera multiple exposures).
• Learn why entering competitions matters and how to get the best out of them with insights from a photographer and judge.
• Finish the weekend by refining your creative portraits in a hands-on Photoshop session.
About Your Instructor:
Judy, based in Northland, is an award-winning photographer renowned for her creativity. With over 12 years of experience, multiple national and international awards, and a rich background in workshops and photographic retreats, Judy brings her expertise as both a photographer and PSNZ judge to help you elevate your craft.
Workshop Details:
• Date: 12/13 April 2025
• Venue: Braemar Studio, Arts for Health, 2 Seddon Road, Hamilton
• Cost: $200 per person (maximum 15 participants)
• What to Bring: Your camera (with a full battery and an empty memory card) and a laptop with Photoshop installed.
• Bring your own lunch – morning and afternoon teas provided.
• Optional: Join us for dinner on Saturday (venue to be confirmed; at your own cost).
