Experienced papercrafter Elisabeth will guide you through everything you need to know to make stunning, unique journals - perfect for capturing memories and thoughts, and ideal for making the most of the fantastic range of papers and embellishments available in the Scrapstore.This is an extra-long session because there is a lot to cover!
We'll start by experimenting with papers, colours, stamps, stencils and washi tape, making some samples in a ring-bound swatch book. Then we will move on to building a 5" x 7" cover and decorated pages, using some of the techniques we have learnt from our sample making, before stitching them together and adding some finishing touches.
You can bring along your own papers, souvenirs from a special trip, photos and images you want to include, or you can choose from the Scrapstore shelves to create your own personalised journal. (Or you can of course include a mixture of both.)
You will leave with a range of skills, a sample book to remind you of the different techniques, and of course your journal, ready to build upon as you gather special bits and pieces from your adventures.
As this is a longer workshop, it is more expensive than our normal workshops - and worth every penny!
(We'll also be taking a short break during the session, if you would like to bring along a lunchtime snack.)
