SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 15 6-7 pm Class for Experienced Dancers. Media Luna: movements for use in all rhythms. A foundational pattern that involves how to lead and follow molinetes. Learn to navigate efficiently and compactly using the BioKinectics method.
7-8 pm Fundamentals Class for All Levels. Learn four key actions to navigate the dance floor: advance, receive, spot, and rotate.
8-10 pm Milonga (open dancing) with music by guest DJ Elizabeth Seyler
PAYMENT for Saturday

Milonga: $5 with either class; $15 milonga only. Pay at door.
Festive snacks and bottled water will be available. Guests may bring their own snacks and nonalcoholic beverages. Clean, smooth-soled shoes are required on the dance floor (no street shoes).

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 16

1-2:30 pm Leaders' Boot Camp. For leaders of any gender who want to improve their leading skills. This is a 1.5-hour workshop, followed by 1.5 hour of practica (total of 3 hours). We will cover leading techniques for five moves (the cross, ochos, paradas (stops), the walk, etc). Participants can send suggested topics in advance to [email protected]. Sergio will pick the five most requested. You will be switching roles to understand how it feels. Workshop needs 6 leaders minimum, maximum 12. The workshop will include:
· Body awareness for leaders
· Leading energies in space
· Leading strategies
· Understanding concepts for base of support, timing and opportunities for leading.
· Basic follower role tips
2:30-4 pm Guided Practica. We welcome followers (any gender) who want to challenge the leaders. Followers will receive tips for following efficiently. Mingle and enjoy snacks while you dance and socialize.
