Join with The Worship Ministries of Memorial Baptist Church for a special concert featuring our Sanctuary Worship Choir, our Children’s Choir, two Ladies Ensembles, our Youth Ensemble, a Septet, the Cruz Family and numerous Soloists. We hope and pray that the selections will be a blessing to your heart and will lead you to the throne to Worship!
Dr. Fred Guilbert will be our guest director for the entire weekend’s activities as well as the Worship Concert. Dr. Guilbert received his Music Bachelors Degree from Louisiana College and both his Master's Degree and his Doctorate from Covington Theological Seminary. He has served as Minister of Music in many churches in Texas, Louisiana, and Tennessee. Dr. Guilbert has served as a periodic guest lecturer at Lee University. He served as President of Covington Theological Seminary, and at Louisiana College, Dr. Guilbert served as Coordinator of Church Music, Chairman of the Division of Fine Arts and Media, the Dean of the School of Fine Arts and Media, and Vice-President of Internal Institutional Advancement. Along with all his Ministry and Academic achievements, Bro. Fred has also had 5 Solo Recordings. You do not want to miss his dynamic style of leading worshippers to the throne!
