About this Event

Looking to live in the world in positive, affirmative, and sustainable ways? Looking to find new, inspiring and economically viable ways to build lives and communities?

Permaculture is about living lightly on the planet, in harmony with nature and making sure that we can sustain human activities for many generations to come.

Our weekend course is an immersion into our permaculture smallholding. You will cover the foundations of permaculture in a very practical way, and see them at work on our farm. We will explore:

- foundations; natural systems and patterns, ethics and design tools

- raised beds and veg growing

- animals in a permaculture system

What to expect

The course is informative and interactive. You will leave having designed a permaculture space, putting into practice everything you have learned. Additionally, you will have the grounding to be able to progress onto the full Permaculture Design Course.

We will spend the weekend immersed in nature, you can camp at the smallholding (for a donation), we will share food and laughter, connect with the earth and learn lots!

Our setting is a developing permaculture smallholding in North Somerset. Details of our exact location will be shared on booking.
